So amazing, the only words you’ll be able to say are ahh, ooh, ga, woah and woooow. Even the overly articulate will be rendered speechless by this world heritage wonder. Seriously, you will have trouble stopping your jaw from dropping as we sail around the snow-capped mountains. Just hope the wind doesn’t change and freeze your face so you stay like that.
The spectacular scenery took 100 000 years to form. Mother Nature is one patient and meticulous lady. She took her time carving the valleys with glaciers over the years, adding the final touches 10 000 years ago. And with the many waterfalls, rainforests, shimmering lakes and granite peaks, she really has outdone herself with this Fiordland work of art.
Don’t worry, we promise that all vocabularies will be restored to their former scrabble-winning glory once the ship has left the Fiordlands, just don’t forget your camera.
