Visit two of Hobart’s most popular attractions, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the summit of Mt Wellington for breathtaking views over Hobart. Travel by coach to the summit of Mount Wellington. On a clear day you can see for miles up the Derwent Valley, down to the Southern Ocean with sweeping views of Hobart. The inlets, bays and hills of this beautiful city make a stunning panorama. Next, make your way to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Join a guided tour to explore the beautiful plants and flowers including the important native and exotic collections. The gardens are more than 200 years old and have many interesting and historical features.
Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, bring plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bottled water. For safety reasons, guests with visual or hearing impairments must always travel with a companion. Mt Wellington may be substituted to Mt Nelson if the road is closed due to inclement weather.
