It can be easy to miss the details if you don't zoom your map pretty far in, but the southern half of Chile's coastline boasts a magnificent collection of fjords, lakes, snow-capped volcanoes, dense forests and thermal springs. At over 1,000 miles long, there's a lot of natural beauty here, and your Carnival ship is a great place to take it all in as you cruise by, not to mention the sea lions, ducks and others who live alongside the coastal Chilean forests you'll find for some stretches of coast, with rock walls — carved and smoothed by glaciers — backdropping the spectacular view in other spots.
