Whale Watching: Search for Alaska’s largest mammals on this combination tour. Your half-day adventure takes you to explore the rich waters of Point Adolphus, home to whales, sea lions, seals, and porpoises. Enjoy warm, comfortable seating inside or savor the spectacular views from outside viewing decks. Your whale watching trip will depart directly from Icy Strait Point, allowing for the maximum amount of water time available.

Bear Search: Known to have one of the largest populations of coastal brown bear in the world, the second half of your adventure continues with a trip into the wilderness of Chichagof Island. Upon arriving to the Spasski River Valley, your experienced guide will lead you over gravel and boardwalk pathways through dense forest and muskeg marsh to several viewing platforms above the Spasski River. Learn about the coastal brown bear, their habitats and why this area is ideal for their year-round foraging. Besides coastal brown bears, there is a chance to view other wildlife such as Sitka-black tailed deer, river otters, pine martens and bald eagles.
