Carnival Cruise Line Sets Sail from Melbourne in 2027
Carnival Cruise Line is bringing the joy of cruising to Melbourne, giving Victorians the opportunity to embark on unforgettable holidays at sea directly from their home state.
Carnival Adventure, one of the newest additions to the Carnival family, will be homeported in Melbourne for a month in 2027, offering a range of exciting voyages that are now available for booking.
The ship will set sail from Singapore in March 2027, taking guests on a spectacular 16-day holiday through the exciting and culturally rich Asian destinations of Malaysia and Bali, before sailing to Western Australia and then Melbourne.
Once in Melbourne, Carnival Adventure will offer four voyages from the Victorian capital. These include three voyages to one of Australia’s most stunning destinations, Kangaroo Island, and a 2-day getaway to Sydney – the perfect introduction to cruising for first-timers or those seeking a quick escape.
“We know Victorians are passionate about cruising and have been calling for more options to sail from their home state,” said Kara Glamore, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Carnival Cruise Line Australia. “This is about offering Victorians the chance to enjoy a fun and affordable holiday without the hassle or cost of flying.”
“These itineraries are part of an exciting new chapter in cruising for Australia, as Carnival Cruise Line prepares to expand to four ships, when P&O’s Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter join the Carnival family in March, as Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter,” she added.
