What are Treasure Chest Coins?
Treasure Chest Coins are a special digital reward currency available only on designated Treasure Chest Voyages. Coins have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be used for onboard purchases, and require a minimum of 10 coins to redeem rewards. Coins can be earned through casino play and select onboard activities. Coins must be redeemed within 90 days after your sailing ends, online only through the Unlock the Treasure Chest website.
If I change my offer or rate code, do I keep my Coins?
No. If a booking is changed to a different rate code, the Treasure Chest Coins included with the original offer are forfeited.
How do I earn Treasure Chest Coins on board?
Guests earn 1 Coin for every 100 Casino Points earned during the voyage. Additional coins may be awarded through special onboard activities, such as treasure-themed events.
Where can I view my Coin balance?
Tracking will be communicated on board and in Know Before You Go communications. Final tracking method will be confirmed prior to sailing.
Are Treasure Chest Coins physical?
No. Coins are fully digital and tracked electronically. There are no physical tokens.
Do Coins act like cash or onboard credit?
No. Treasure Chest Coins cannot be used for onboard purchases and are not equivalent to onboard credit. Coins can only be redeemed online for rewards after the cruise in the Unlock the Treasure Chest website.
Do Coins expire?
Yes. Coins must be redeemed within 90 days after your sailing ends.
Where and how do I redeem Coins?
All redemptions take place online at the Unlock the Treasure Chest website. Guests will receive the link through pre-sailing and onboard communications. Onboard redemption is not available.
Can I redeem prizes on board before going home?

When will the Unlock the Treasure Chest website be available?
The Unlock the Treasure Chest website will be available before your sailing. More information about accessing the site will be shared in your Know Before You Go communication and through onboard messaging during your voyage. The website will include complete prize details, the coin amounts required for each reward, and step‑by‑step ordering instructions.
What can I redeem Coins for?
Rewards include Carnival-branded merchandise, electronics, watches, and premium household essentials. Redemption begins at just 10 coins, and items may be valued up to $5,000.
How long does delivery take, and who handles support?
Delivery typically takes up to 14 days after an order is placed. A third-party online gifting company fulfills orders and handles all customer service inquiries related to rewards.
What is the Golden Coin Raffle?
The Golden Coin Raffle takes place on the final day of the voyage. All Coins banked before that day are automatically entered—no action required. Guests receive one raffle entry for every Coin banked. Five winners will receive $1,000 in FunPlay, and two additional winners will receive a prize valued at $10,000.
Do FunPlay prizes carry over to a future cruise?
No. FunPlay earned through the Golden Coin Raffle must be used on the same sailing and does not transfer to a future voyage.
