Whale Watching & Wildlife Cruise: You’ll have the opportunity to view humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, porpoises, seals, eagles and more. Sail on an Alaskan-built, high-speed expedition vessel with comfortable seating, wrap around windows, heated cabin, restroom, outside viewing deck, and galley.
Mendenhall Glacier Guided Coach Tour: You will take a scenic, guided coach tour to view and photograph the famous Mendenhall Glacier. At the Visitor Center, you’ll have time to explore interactive exhibits and stroll on viewpoint trails.
What’s Included:
Accessibility: This tour is ambulatory accessible; collapsible wheelchairs allowed; however, no mobility scooters allowed. Guests must take a few steps (up/down), walk short distances, and transfer to a seat. Not all pathways are fully wheelchair accessible.
Requirements & Restrictions: For availability purposes, guests that require a lift vehicle must notify the Shore Excursions desk on board at least 24 hours in advance.
What to Bring: Warm layers of clothing, rain jacket, and USD currency or credit/debit card for additional purchases.
Good to Know: Beer, wine, additional snacks, and Alaskan-made retail products are available for purchase. CLOSED SATURDAYS: The Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center building will be closed on Saturdays. Tours will still visit the site and guests will have access to the full grounds and trail system. Restrooms will remain open.
Whale Guarantee: The operator guarantees that a whale will be sighted on this excursion from June through August, with each participant receiving a $100 cash refund from the tour operator after the tour if a whale is not sighted. A guarantee is not offered outside of these dates; however, a whale sighting remains highly likely.
