The Original Canopy Tour: Experience the most exhilarating canopy zipline ride in the Caribbean: the Original Canopy Tour® in the Veragua Rainforest. Soar through the heart of the jungle, following the path of a river below. Pause at platforms and marvel at your view of the pristine rainforest and La Amistad (Friendship) International Park as far as the eye can see.
Wildlife Viewing: Keep an eye out for monkeys, tropical birds, sloths, and other wildlife! The area is home to 400 birds, 100 mammals, and 585 butterfly species—making it one of the most biodiverse locations on the planet.
What’s Included:
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 5 years. Maximum weight – 270 lbs. This is an active excursion and guests must be physically fit in order to participate. For safety reasons, pregnant women, and guests with back or neck injuries, may not participate on this excursion.
What to Bring: Cash or credit card for purchases, closed-toe shoes (no flip flops although sandals are acceptable), hat or visor, poncho, sunscreen, insect repellant.
Good to Know: Wildlife sightings are common but not guaranteed. Veragua Rainforest is located within the National System of Conservation Areas. Ponchos available for purchase at entrance. Liability waiver is required. La Amistad Park, located nearby, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
