Start your tour with a scenic drive to Portovenere, a famous picturesque village which is also A UNESCO World Heritage site. This part of the area of coastline and the surrounding hillsides are already  the Cinque Terre National Park. 


In Portovenere enjoy a guided tour of the village with the visit of the church of St. Peter where the temple of Venus once stood, giving rise to the name Porto Venere. After the guided visit of the village you will enjoy free time for shopping in this lovely place. Then, board a motorboat for a scenic ride along the Cinque Terre: While cruising and admiring the amazing landscape, enjoy a guided commentary. Your boat ride will end at the most famous of the five villages in Cinque Terre, Monterosso al mare. 

After the guide’s introduction, you will have a complimentary pesto tasting at one of the local venues before your approximately 90 minutes of free time to explore the village typical shops, the characteristic historical centre or the inviting restaurants. At the end of your free time you’ll take a local train to Levanto (a close-by village) to re-join the coach for your return to the ship.
