Details

Take a guided kayak tour to the Tangalooma Wrecks, where 15 awesome shipwrecks are home to a large variety of tropical reef fish, brightly coloured coral, and marine life. These ships were scuttled by the Queensland Government between 1963 and 1984 to provide safe anchorage on the eastern side of Moreton Island for small watercrafts. Coral has now formed in and around the wrecks forming an artificial reef and haven for marine life. Your tour begins with a short safety briefing before heading out on the pristine waters of Moreton Island. Head down to the iconic shipwrecks on your clear-bottom kayak. Look down through the clear-viewing kayak to see an abundance of corals, fish and turtles without having to get in the water.
