Blue Penguins: Take a beachfront ride to a protected all-weather track, concluding at a dedicated hide on Penguin Beach, offering a chance to see charming little blue penguins in their nests.
Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 2 years. For safety reasons, guests with back, or neck injuries may not participate in this excursion.
What to Bring: Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, and bring plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bottled water.
Good to Know: The scenic journey to Nature’s Wonders is approximately 90 minutes each way. The breeding/nesting season for cormorants, blue and yellow-eyed penguins occur annually between September and early April. Tour may vary. The tour at Natures Wonders is one way by Argo and one way by minibus. The Argo ride carries six guests, and the ride is across open countryside, involving some steep and bumpy off-road driving.
