Begin with a scenic drive to the Daintree River, enjoy the picturesque countryside and spectacular Coral Sea views. At the Daintree, discover the wonder of the dense rainforest canopy from the Mossman Rainforest. It’s part of the oldest rainforest in the world and looks like a scene from the Jurassic Period! Search for estuarine crocodiles on a wilderness cruise before taking a walk along one of Cape Tribulation’s finest beaches. Friendly, professional guides will share informative commentary along the way.
Do not wander onto the riverbanks. This is crocodile territory. For safety reasons, guests with visual or hearing disabilities must travel with a companion at all times. For safety reasons, guests with walking difficulties may not participate on this excursion. Guests must be able to board the coach unassisted and sit in a coach seat. Walking is over uneven rainforest tracks with uneven surfaces, inclines, declines, several large steps, some slippery ground with protruding tree. Order of sites visited may vary. Crocodile and other wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket. Bring plenty of biodegradable reef friendly sunscreen and bottled water.
