Discover good food, good wine and good times on this food and wine sightseeing tour of Tasmania. Begin with a drive through Tasmania’s stunning countryside on your way to Port Arthur Lavender Farm. Enjoy a relaxing morning tea before exploring the farm, distillery and gift shop. Next, visit the Bangor Wine and Oyster Shed, overlooking Blackman Bay, it is the most southerly vineyard in the world. Feast on freshly shucked local oysters accompanied by a glass of wine and a fresh and tasty lunch. After lunch head to Eagle Hawk Neck, a perfect vantage point to view the impressive rock formations of Devil’s Kitchen, Tasman Arch and The Blowhole. Finally, stop for ice cream and fresh berries (optional and at guests own expense).
Guests will need to walk approximately 5-10 minutes over uneven ground and a slight incline from the tender arrival point to the coach departure point to reach the Visitor Centre. The vehicle cannot store walkers or wheelchairs. Order of sights visited may vary. For safety reasons, guests with visual and/or hearing difficulties need to travel with a companion. Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, bring plenty of biodegradable sunscreen, insect repellent and bottled water.
