Today, the palace serves as the residence of the Maltese President. Walk among mature trees, stone urns, fountains, ponds and formal flower beds, and see plaques commemorating ceremonial tree plantings by visiting heads of state. The gardens are also home to a variety of plants, including jacaranda trees, Norfolk pines, bougainvillea and roses.
